Pervert's Laptop Stolen Exposing Hundreds of His Bookmarks and Internet History.

Gautam Dev

A pervert's laptop was stolen yesterday. It did not contain anything valuable but hundreds of his private bookmarks, his Internet history, cookies, caches, lots of downloaded videos, pictures, and some potent viruses. If his laptop falls into the wrong hands, millions of people will be at risk.

It is not clear if someone stole the laptop from his unlocked car or he simply lost it. He has a habits of leaving the laptop on restaurant tables, in shopping carts, and in gas stations. He always carries it in his hand as he could not afford to buy a laptop bag.

The viruses in his laptop are so potent that if the laptop is connected to any corporate network, the network's integrity could be seriously impaired. All the computers connected to the affected network could simply loose all data.

Especially vulnerable will be the children. If any young child gains access to the laptop and find his way around the downloaded files and his bookmarks, his mind will suffer severe damage. Some of his downloads and the websites he has bookmarked (actually most of them if not all) are so vulgar and prurient in nature that when an innocent child sees any of the material the psychological damage will be beyond repair by any modern day psychologist. Parents are urged to take precautions to instruct their children not to accept laptops from an unknown person and look into any unattended suspicious looking laptops by themselves. Authorities are considering stating a special toll free number where concerned parents could call to get help.

The pervert has collected a lot of these websites by spending countless hours on the Internet searching for them. None of the websites appear in Google search results until the thirtieth page or so. He always saved his bookmarks in bookmark sharing sites such as del.icio.us as private. Websites that were so well hidden on the Internet are now believed to be widely exposed.

Anyone who has the laptop or has seen the laptop is urged to call the authorities immediately. No one should try to handle the laptop by themselves. This is a job that is best left to the experts. Not many details are known about it except that it is an old Toshiba model (8030E) and has gray exterior. It is quite likely whoever found it (or stole it) left it unattended somewhere as he could not possibly find any use of it. So any unattended laptops are highly suspect. Anyone who returns the laptop will not get any rewards. However, a donation of $39.95 and then some (to cover the taxes) will be appreciated. This will enable the victim to buy a laptop bag and possibly a lock.
