Name Movie Mistakes
Description Movie mistakes - goofs, bloopers, pictures, quotes and trivia from thousands of movies
  • The Three Stooges
As Teddy goes to take a picture of the trio on his iPhone, he is on the iPhone's home screen. Though a shutter noise is heard, he never enters the camera app to take the photo.

  • E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial
While ET takes a bath, Elliot - face and hair covered in Coca-Cola - hangs up on his mom and goes back to the tub. When the angle changes his face and hair are dry.

  • Mystery, Alaska
At the end of the game against the Rangers, as the Mystery team is going for the tying goal, you see the Ranger goalie way out of position to the one side of the goal as Russel Crowe passes the puck back to Connor near the blue line. In fact, you see the goalie start his "dive" across the front of the net before Connor even receives the pass. We then see a shot from behind the net of Connor receiving the pass and that from this angle we can see that the goalie is in his normal spot in front of the goal, it then cuts to a shot of the goalie from the front where he is also in the middle of the net drifting back toward the goal in perfect position, but when Connor actually takes the shot, the goalie is back off to the one side of the goal trying desperately to dive across to make the save.

  • We Are Marshall
In the scene where Coach Dawson strides off the practice field after knocking Nate Ruffin down, Coach Leyngel helps Ruffin up. In the very next shot, he is helping him up again.

  • Tommy
When Tommy's parents die he puts their hands together. As the camera shows the close-up of their hands his mother's pinky finger twitches.

  • Skulduggery Pleasant: Death Bringer
In Chapter 3, when Skulduggery, Valkyrie and Fletcher are standing outside the cottage, Fletcher says,"We'll have to let ourselves in" and Skulduggery says "relying on teleportation is making us lazy." However, Fletcher can't teleport to anywhere that he hasn't seen. Fletcher hasn't been to the house before, so why would he suggest teleporting inside when he shouldn't be able to do this? It makes no sense.

  • Highlander
When the Kurgan is fighting Ramerez he hits the wall and stones fall on him. A crew member can be seen pushing the stones out.

  • Salt
After Salt kills Orlov she arms herself with three grenades, picks up a semi-automatic pistol, checks the magazines, then snaps it up into the handle of the weapon. But she doesn't chamber a round by pulling the slide back - yet immediately afterwards she is shooting the bad guys without taking that vital step.

  • A View to a Kill
When Bond and Tibbett are sneaking into the stables, they left a tape recorder in Bond's room playing sleeping/snoring noises to pretend Bond is in his room sleeping. When Zorin and Mayday look for Bond in his room the tape recorder isn't there any more. It is absolutely quiet in this room.

  • American Reunion
When Oz is talking to Mia outside near the start, she puts her hands on her shoulders when she says "that's so cute!" In the next shot they're lowered, and she puts them on his shoulders again.

  • The Avengers
Near the beginning of the film, Tony Stark views the information on the other superheroes before they all come together, on hologram touch screens. If you look closely at one of the screens, you can see footage of Black Widow and Hawkeye fighting side-by-side. That same footage was taken from the final fight scene of the movie, so it hadn't happened yet.

  • The Hunger Games
Before Peeta throws the big metal ball in the training room, Marvel, Clove, and Cato are watching him. But after Peeta throws the ball, the camera shows Marvel, Glimmer, and Cato. Clove and Glimmer have switched places.

  • The New Avengers
When Gambit is just about to shoot off Steed's door handle, the 'marble' column behind him wobbles visibly.

  • The Raid: Redemption
The last surviving gangster is walked out of the apartment building with the police at the end of movie. He is covered with blood on his hands, face, and clothes, but his white tennis shoes are immaculately clean.

  • Moneyball
In the scene where Billy is trading away players with Pete watching, his coffee cup moves back and forth from right to left without him touching it.

  • Battleship
The USS Missouri is a 68-year-old museum ship. Only a few museum ships are still able to sail under their own power. The USS Missouri, however, is not one of them, and could never have left port. There is no fuel on board, corrosion has done serious damage to the rotor blades and controls, and if one was to try and refire the boilers, they would surely explode. Also, there is no ammunition on board, plus all controls have been stripped, and all tubes and barrels blocked to prevent dirt from damaging them. Therefore, it cannot ever fire a shot again. Though it was renovated in 2010, it was mostly to prevent it from rusting away and sinking.

  • Immortals
In the shot where Hyperion is walking through the ranks of his army it first shows his army holding their swords with their left hands, but as the shot changes to the front all the troops are holding their swords with their right hands but in exactly the same combat stance.

  • Armageddon
Gruber is around to help disarm the bomb but doesn't seem to be around to make the trip home.

  • Soul Surfer
After Bethany gets bitten by the shark and she is taken to the beach, they roll her over onto the other surfboard. When the brother comes back from calling 911, he and and the father get ready to lift the board on the count of 3. If you look carefully and closely, you can see AnnaSophia reposition herself on the board. She lifts her butt a little and moves further onto the board.

  • Sidekicks
At the end of the fight in the gym, Mr. Horn comes in and stops it. Yet in the previous overhead shot, he is nowhere to be seen. The shots are meant to be directly connected - watch Cellini's hand. In the overhead shot, he starts brushing his hair back. In the close shot, he finishes the motion from the exact point he stopped in the overhead shot.

  • Limitless
Given the "efficient" logical function of Eddie's brain, for some reason, his brain deduced it was "smarter" to borrow money from the Russian Mafia (higher interest) than the safer option of going to the bank. Also, given his reliability in being able to generate a substantial income, the bank would have had no trouble granting him a loan. He also then forgets to repay this loan to the mafia.

  • Pokemon: Red and Blue
After you deliver Oak's parcel, go and battle Blue on Route 22. Then return to Oak, and he'll tell you about capturing Pokemon and he'll give you 5 Pokeball. This is a hidden text. However, in the middle of the text, it becomes glitched and scrambled. No wonder why they kept it hidden.

  • Hannibal
In Italy, when Hannibal grabs the glass with a napkin around, the way the napkin is folded changes between shots.

  • Towering Inferno
When the first woman goes across on the breeches buoy, the overhead shot of her going across does not show the outside elevator which at this stage is hanging by a cable and stuck on the outside. However, it is visible in the shots from the peerless building which the breeches buoy is attached to.

  • The Rookie (1990)
No news program would allow expletives on TV. They would all be beeped out.

  • The Incredible Hulk (1982)
Whenever Banner changes into Hulk his clothes rips, only his pants stays on. But when Hulk changes back to Banner, he suddenly has all his clothes on, no rips or tears at all.

  • The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1
As Edward and Jacob are working to revive Bella just after she gives birth, Bella's eyes keep changing from being open and unblinking to tightly closed. The "making of" documentary on the "DVD Extra", showed a life-size dummy of an emaciated Bella with closed eyes that was used in more physical scenes. You can tell it's the dummy whenever Bella is shown with her eyes shut.

  • Titanic
When the Captain tells the morse operator to make an emergency call, the position of the papers and pencils in front of him move around between shots.

  • The Little Mermaid
The first time we see Eric's boat, the number of lamps on the stern decreases between shots.

  • Watchmen
Typo in lower part of newspaper in line below "Chicago Seven Acquitted" headline. It reads "13 Injured As Thousands Protest Vedict". I assume they meant "Verdict".
